Sarah Stoeckel is a fearless leader in her community who enjoys giving back in a variety of ways. She has many passions which stem from her love for God and love for people. She is a proud UCF Knight, having multiple degrees from UCF related to education and public administration. Her latest accomplishment occurred last year when she earned her PhD in Public Affairs.
Sarah works full-time at Eastern Florida State College as an Academic Advisor and Adjunct Instructor. She enjoys helping others achieve their goals, whether it’s educating them in the classroom or cheering them on toward graduation. When she is not at EFSC, you can find her at Titusville City Hall, where she proudly serves on the Titusville City Council. Her favorite thing about her role is synthesizing a plethora of data, knowledge, and materials in order to make the best decision possible for the community. She enjoys policy analysis and strategizing new ways to solve current issues. Her research within her doctoral studies centered specifically on the use of social media within government entities as a way to increase transparency, participation, and collaboration.
In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, working out, volunteering in ministry and churches, speaking and giving presentations on various topics, and working on her relationship blog. The relationship blog seeks to inspire individuals to develop healthy relationships, specifically teens and college-aged students. Sarah feels extremely blessed for the opportunities God has given her. She is excited to participate in Dancing for the Space Coast and feels privileged to be part of an event that gives back in an impactful way.
