2023 Dancer – QUINISHA “Q” BREDWOOD
Quinisha “Q” Bredwood is the Owner & Operator of Q’s Crackin’ Crab & Seafood Kitchen, a restaurant beautifully nestled in Cocoa Beach, FL, between the world-famous Cocoa Beach Pier and Ron John Surf Shop. Mrs. Bredwood was educated in the Brevard County School System where she graduated from Satellite High School in 2001. Then attended college at Brevard Community College. As the daughter of an entrepreneur “Q” has always had the pedigree to excel in anything she put her mind to. Knowing that she had a special gift to offer to the world in 2020 amidst a global pandemic.
Mrs. Bredwood took her entrepreneurial journey to the next level and opened the doors to her dream restaurant.
After years of the best lessons through trial and error, Mrs.Bredwood has hit her stride as one of Brevard’s newest restauranters. In 2021 Mrs. Bredwood and Q’s Crackin’ Crab was featured in Space Coast Living Magazine, Everything Brevard, Hometown News, and Florida Today. In addition, Mrs. Bredwood was a 2021 Finalist for Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Startup Business of the Year and voted Best New Restaurant in Space Coast Living Magazine. In 2022 she was awarded the Startup Business of the Year and Entrepreneur of the Year Award by the Space Coast Black Chamber of Commerce.
With all her hats, such as wife, mom, and business owner Mrs. Bredwood still dedicates time to various civic and social causes in her local community, including serving as a Board Member for Cocoa Beach Regional Chamber and Chair of the chamber’s Young Professionals Group. She is also a member of United Way of Brevard’s Emerging Leaders.
Mrs. Bredwood works alongside her loving husband, Anthony, who serves as General Manager, and their daughter Amaya, who works as their assistant manager while attending college locally at Eastern Florida State College as she pursues a degree in nursing.
Together they have a beautiful, blended family of 5 daughters: Amaya (19), Oliva (14), Janiyah(9), Lauren(4), and Capri (11mo).
